Space Rental


Daruma is a Berlin-based shibari space that offers classes and community events. It’s available for rentals for rope workshops and jams, as well as a range of movement and creative activities, such as dance, rope, yoga, aerial yoga, bodywork, photo and film shoots, and more.  

Main Studio Space

  • 100 square meter room

  • Capacity: The space comfortably accommodates approximately 35 people for workshop or jam formats. For performances or film screenings the capacity is higher.

  • Full-room suspension frame with up to 24 suspension points that can be used simultaneously.

  • Bamboos, single points, and aerial yoga hammocks are available to use.

  • 11 hashira (posts) suitable for rope work

  • Sound System (with both bluetooth and cable connectivity)

  • Lighting system with full colour and temperature control

  • Directional LED stage lights - brightness and temperature controllable.

  • Fully heated

  • Yoga mats (16) & yoga mat cleaning supplies

Please note that the main room is a shoes-off space.

Kitchen & Bathroom

The Kitchen & Bathroom are a combined 30 square meters

Kitchen: sink, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, coffeemaker, electric kettle, flatware/dishware. Teas and coffee available on donation basis.

All-gender bathroom: with two standard-width toilet stalls, and a shower; doubling as changing area as needed. Hand and bath towels are available to use. Sanitary products are provided.
