The Rope Jam at Daruma welcomes shibari enthusiasts of all levels and backgrounds to practice, play, chat, or just to watch.
Beginners and curious newcomers are super welcome, and you don’t need to come with a partner in order to attend.

Performance Night: Mie Neko & Nikoleta Ginger
Mie Neko melds body manipulation, power dynamics, semenawa, and a soft yet precise approach into her tying, and draws on her dance background to influence her rope performances, which perfectly compliments Nikoleta’s passion for tying in movement, and immersing herself in deep, dark emotions.
Performance Night: hua hua
We’re very happy to welcome innovative and creative shibari artist hua hua to Daruma on Friday 21st June to give an improvisational performance. After the performance, we invite you to stay at Daruma for a rope jam until 11.30pm.
